Anne Benton born on October 29, in Albany, New York, USA as Anne Christine Benson. She was an actress, known for Flaming Star (), Perry Mason () and Men Into Space (). She was married to Bernard McDonald. She died on November 8, in Portland, Oregon, USA Her career ended due to an affliction with schizophreniaAnne had the desire to act as a small girl when she played the part of one of the ugly sisters in "Cinderella." She attended Swathmore College for two years then transferred to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. She had a small part in the Broadway play, "Witness for the Prosecution." The play toured for six months. While in Los Angeles she met Dr. Bernard McDonald. They married in Mexico City on December 28, They honeymooned in Jamaica flying via Cuba. They settled in Manhattan Beach, California. Their son Brian was born in October When Dr. McDonald went to Europe to work and study in Paris in September , Anne elected to stay behind. She signed a contract with 20th Century Fox as Anne Benton. She was cast in the "Flaming Star" featuring Elvis Presley and Dolores Del Rio, directed by Don Siegel. James "Jim" Edwin Johnson III, 56, of Little Rock, died with family by his side on February 10, , following a nine month battle with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. His loved ones will be forever grateful for the extra time together that his courageous fight afforded them.
Jim was born in Augusta, GA to Nancy B. Johnson and James E. Johnson, Jr. He grew up in a loving family that included two older sisters, Anne Benton and Jane, who he adored. At an early age, Jim was introduced to the game of golf by his father and developed a lifelong passion for the sport.
When Jim was 11, his family moved to Charlotte, NC. There he continued to play and excel at golf, winning many junior and amateur tournaments. He graduated from Charlotte Country Day School and led their golf team to four straight state championships during his high school years, winning the individual title his senior year.
Jim received a golf scholarship to Wake Forest University where he was a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity and graduated with a BA in Business. It was there that he me
