Georgina Adam is a London-based writer, with 30 years experience writing about the art market and the arts in general. Between and she was editor of the Art Market section of The Art Newspaper, where she is now editor at large. She is a contributor to the Life and Arts section of the Financial Times, where she specialises in profiles of art collectors.
She has authored the books, Big Bucks: The Explosion of the Art Market in the 21st Century (Lund Humphries, ) and Dark Side of the Boom: the excesses of the art market in the 21st century (Lund Humphries, ).
She is a member of the International Association of Art Critics (AICA), The International Art Market Studies Association (TIAMSA) and chair of the membership committee of Cromwell Place.
