Inder Chahal[1] (born on 12 December ) is an Indian Punjabi singer and model[2]. He started his singing career back in with his first stage performance in Delhi along with his cousin, a very famous Punjabi singer Mankrit Aulakh.[3]

He is an alma mater of one of the known schools in Chandigarh, Spring Dales Public Senior Secondary School, Sangrur. He went on to pursure bachelor's degree in Law from Rayat Bahra University, Mohali as per the will of his parents. His father Jugraj Singh, is a Punjab Police Officer and mother, Hardev Kaur a house-maker and he has one elder sister.[4]

The eighth of ten children, his father, Joseph, was a steelworker and musician, while his mother, Katherine, worked as a saleswoman and played the piano.
