Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was the preeminent leader of the Indian independence movement in British-ruled India. Synopsis
Mohammad is sent to an apartment situated in uptown Tehran to install their satellite dishes, while having satellite TV is illegal in Iran. He arrives there with a girl named Shirin who seems to be his girlfriend and is in need of some money to repair her fathers car with which she has had an accident the day before. One of my most favorite Iranian comedy-dramas, written by the one and only Asghar Farhadi :)))
It captures the time period pretty brilliantly. Iran (Tehran) trying to find its place in a modern world and getting to know the media outside this country. On the other hand, it illustrated the feeling of stress and hiding people had because dealing Hollywood movies and owning satellites were pretty illegal.
