Kensington Palace has released the first official photo of the Princess of Wales since her surgery as she thanked the public for their support in a Mother's Day message while she continues to recuperate.
Princess Kate is seen beaming with her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis in a picture taken by her husband, Prince William, at their home in Windsor.
'Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day,' the Princess of Wales said, signing off the message with a 'C' for Catherine.
In the new photo, Kate, 42, is seen sitting down on a chair with her arms around Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five. George, 10, is stood behind her with his arms wrapped around her shoulders in a hug.
Kate, dressed in denim jeans and a jacket, and her children appear to be roaring with laughter in the photo which was taken by William, 41, this week.

The Southwark Crown Court in London, United Kingdom, has fixed January 19, , for the trial of Nigeria’s former petroleum minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
The judge, Justice Thornton, during the arraignment on Friday, fixed the trial date for the former president of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), which is expected to span for 12 weeks.
Mrs Alison-Madueke is accused of accepting bribes by using private jets, Chauffeur-driven luxury cars, expensive properties, purchase of luxury goods from Louis Vuitton and Harrods, £, cash, and payment of school fees for her sons.
However, the former minister, alongside two others, Doye Agame and Olatimbo Ayinde, pleaded not guilty to an eight-count indictment bordering bribery and conspiracy to bribe levelled against them.
The judge, after fixing the trial date, ordered the prosecution to serve all their evidence in the case by June 2, and therefore granted bail to the three defendants on the same terms as before.
