As a senior anchor for Al Jazeera English, Shiulie launched the international channel from Qatar in , eventually reaching some million homes. She has reported from conflict and disaster zones around the globe, covering major stories including the Kosovo War, the Asian Tsunami, the Arab Spring, the capture of Osama Bin Laden and the death of Nelson Mandela.
Shiulie Ghosh is now one of the leading anchors on the global network TRT World. She helped launch TRT’s London bureau for television and radio and now hosts the network’s nightly flagship evening News hour.
She has moderated high-level discussions at the United Nations and the World Health Assembly, and has presented conferences for many international businesses including the finance, health, energy and construction sectors.

Shiulie Ghosh, a graduate of Kent University in England with a B.A. in Law, is the radiant correspondent, newsreader and Home Affairs Editor for ITV News, former home of the equally radiant Daljit Dhaliwal. Like Dhaliwal, Miss Ghosh was trained in news reporting by the BBC, and landed her first television job in at the age of 22, reporting for BBC's "East Midlands Today." She began anchoring the show the following year, becoming one of the youngest anchors in the country, though she now describes her early television reporting and newsreading as "probably rubbish". In , she joined the BBC's "Country File" as a newsreader, switching over to the channel's "Newsroom South East" in as both a newsreader and reporter.
Miss Ghosh decided to take a sabbatical from the TV news "rat race" in , spending nine months traveling the world with a close friend. Upon her return in , she hooked up with ITV News as an anchor/reporter, where she's remained for five years and counting. She can be seen internationally on the ITV cable channel. Shiulie Ghosh (Bengali: শিউলি ঘোষ, /ʃjuli ghɔːʃ/, born 28 September ) is a freelance television journalist, conference moderator, author and director of a media services company. Shiulie formerly worked for the BBC, ITN and Aljazeera. She moderates debates for clients including the World Health Organization and the UN. She also writes young adult fiction novels, and is a part-time newscaster at the TRT World bureau in London. She freelances as an anchor on the evening news hour programme. Early Career Ghosh began her career as a programme assistant at Radio Cleveland. In she was accepted as BBC News trainee and worked in various posts at the BBC for the next eight years. In she joined ITV News, progressing to Senior Correspondent and eventually being appointed Home Affairs Editor.
