But, did you know that, 10, years ago for a short time, the Sahara was a lush land full of green grass and water?

Scientists believe that for a period of years, the Sahara was inhabited up to miles further south than it is today.
When the monsoons ended and the Sahara returned once more to desert, people moved back towards the Nile Valley and Egypt.
