Kendall Jenner Lands a Deal with Adidas
In a move surprising no one, Kendall Jenner has landed a contract with Adidas Originals. The year-old model announced her new gig on Instagram this afternoon with a boomerang of herself, clad in the brand's staple tracksuit, driving a golf cart in front of a "Welcome to the family!" mural.

By teaming up with Adidas, Jenner follows her half brother-in-law Kanye West, who produces his highly-coveted Yeezy clothing line in collaboration with the German sportswear brand. There are no further details on Kendall's new role as brand ambassador yet, but it wouldn't come in a shock if she did some designing too.
"A longtime fan of the brand, Kendall embodies the spirit of Adidas Originals as a creative force shaping the world today by challenging the status quo in her very own way," the company said in a release. "A classic icon, Kendall is a true Original and we welcome her to our family."

Today, Adidas dropped its latest Originals campaign starring none other than Kendall Jenner, who first announced her ambassadorship for the German sportswear giant with a Twitter post back in May.
It's Jenner's first major endorsement since her infamous Pepsi commercial was pulled in April, but there's nothing particularly new―or original―about casting an Insta-famous supermodel in athletic ads. It's a tried-and-true formula that's already been well exploited by other big brands. In alone we've witnessed: Gigi Hadid for Reebok, Bella Hadid for Nike, and Kylie Jenner for Puma.
